Protestants vs. Puritans
The Role of Religion was a big part of the 17th centuary of England. The offical church of England was the Anglican or Church of England. Most people were protestants and were very strong and concrete. The two main religions were Protestant anf Puritans. They are both very different which caused many fights and arguments.
Church of England

- Known as the Calvinists
- Very simple
- Did not like gambling, theatre, and drinking
-Laws were made to keep people from sinning
Having many Kings has brought lots of different religions into the situation.
The Parliament and the people had to learn to ajust to many different ideas, practices, and opinions.
